It all began with an idea.

My name is Matthew Ritterbush and am currently entering my fourth year at the University of Colorado Boulder. I grew up near San Francisco California, in a town called Danville, where I spent the first 18 years of my life. Throughout my life I’ve constantly been exposed to vast amounts of creativity. Along with having a father who majored in marketing, it allowed for me to learn about the industry from a young age through his business life. Having a rather creative lens to see life through, advertising has always stuck to me as a profession I’d love to be involved with. Music has been a sense of happiness throughout my life, and being able to incorporate music into advertising has opened my eyes with what you can do with the two sides. Ever since my earlier years in life, I've been drawing, creating numerous playlists for myself and family, and trying to implement every bit of creativity I have into my daily life. Having the opportunity to display my own creativity to the advertising industry is something I believe I can strive and be successful in. Along with how much advertising takes place in everyday life, learning more and more about the industry has really let me see what it's all about.
